About Calcali

Calcali is a Social Knowledge Network: a place to ask anything, help others, and learn properly.

There are two halves that work as one. The community, where students and teachers ask and answer questions with text, maths, pictures or a recorded whiteboard, across 21 faculties of knowledge. And the Library, with every maths topic from the first years of school to first-year university (British, American and South African CAPS curricula) and physics, each with lessons, worked examples you can present, and practice that checks itself.

Answers turn green when they’re checked: automatically against the answer, by a teacher, or when the community clearly agrees. Checked answers flow into the Library, so every topic keeps getting new ways to solve it. Teachers earn a yellow seal by teaching well.
