Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use Calcali. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

• Works with screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA) and full keyboard control.
• Text resizes with your device settings; light and dark themes with strong contrast.
• Animations are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Maths is written as real text, not pictures, so screen readers can read it.
• Every whiteboard can be replayed step by step, and the Present mode works with arrow keys.

Known gaps: drawing on the whiteboard needs a pointer; we’re working on describing whiteboards in words. If something doesn’t work for you, email safety@calcali.app and we’ll help.
