Community rules

Calcali is for learning together. These rules keep it kind and safe for everyone, including children.

  1. Be kind. Everyone here is learning. No mean comments, bullying, or making fun of someone’s mistake.
  2. Help people understand. Show how you got the answer. Don’t just hand over homework answers.
  3. Keep private things private. Don’t post your real name, address, phone number, school, social media or photos of yourself, and never anyone else’s. Never arrange to meet someone.
  4. Only post your own work, or things you’re allowed to share. Don’t copy textbooks, exam papers or someone else’s answer.
  5. Nothing harmful. No hate, rude or sexual things, violence, or anything against the law. Learning about hard topics is fine; instructions for hurting people are not.
  6. Play fair. One account each. No fake accounts, no swapping votes, no spam.
  7. Report, don’t fight back. If something is wrong, tap ⋯ › Report and move on. When three people report something it’s folded away until someone checks it.
  8. Tell a grown-up. If anything makes you feel uncomfortable, tell an adult you trust, or email safety@calcali.app.

If a rule is broken

The post is removed. Then a warning, then the account can’t post for a while, then it’s closed. Anything that puts a child in danger means the account is closed straight away and we tell the people whose job it is to protect children. If you think we got it wrong, email us and a person will look again.

The full version is in our terms. See also your privacy, in plain words.
