How do I solve 3x + 7 = 2x + 15?
We did this in class but I forgot what to do when there are x’s on both sides.

3x − 2x + 7 = 15
x + 7 = 15
x = 8

Tip: always move the smaller number of x’s, so you never get a negative x term.
