Times tables are quick multiplication facts. Learn a few anchors and you can work out the rest.
Key facts
- Order doesn’t matter: 7 × 8 = 8 × 7.
- ×9: ten lots take away one lot.
- ×4: double, then double again.
- ×5: half of ×10.
