Position and direction · Grade 1
In Grade 1 you get fluent with: above, below, next to and between; left and right, forwards and backwards.
Position and direction tell us where things are and how to get there. We describe turns as fractions of a whole turn (or in degrees), use compass directions, and give moves on a grid as so many squares across and up.
